Haven Purchases Property Adjacent to its Hartford Avenue Campus in White River Junction

The Upper Valley Haven, a nonprofit located in White River Junction, VT announces that it has completed the purchase of 657 Hartford Avenue, adjacent to its campus on the south side. The property includes buildings containing apartments and office space. Michael Redmond, Executive Director of the Haven commented, “We’re very excited to have acquired this property. It will allow us to immediately add much needed office space for our staff which has greatly expanded in the past decade responding to community needs for food, shelter and housing. We haven’t added any new program or office spaces since 2010 when the Hixon Adult Shelter opened. While we have no plans at present, this property could support development of additional mission-focused program needs in the future.”

The property, formerly the office location of Montshire Properties, a real estate business, includes three one-bedroom apartments which are currently occupied. The tenant leases were recently extended prior to the sale.
