Working with and supporting food programs in our community.

We are proud to work with and support other food programs in our community, through delivered food and organizational growth planning advice. We do this work because we recognize that not everyone can travel to the Haven and that natural communities, including schools, outpatient clinics, and hospitals, provide trusted and more accessible locations for some people to receive needed food support. We work to ensure we are filling gaps and not duplicating services. We have extended our reach by delivering emergency, non-perishable food bags to clinics at Dartmouth Health, Alice Peck Day Hospital, and Cheshire Medical Center.  The Haven has established mini Food Shelves with perishable and non-perishable items in the Dartmouth Cancer Center and in DH’s Moms in Recovery Clinic.
