Giving From Abundance – Upper Valley Haven Van Decal Design Contest

IMG

Calling all graphic designing, graffiti-ing, drawing, painting, cartooning, doodling, professional, amateur artists! Do you want to see your work driving around the Upper Valley on the Haven’s refrigerator van as it delivers food to our community food partners?

Responding to the prompt, “Giving From Abundance,” design a decal for a 2023 Dodge Ram Promaster – 3500 Cargo Van High Roof 159” Wheelbase.

Final designs should be done in a vector-based design program like Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW and should be saved so the file can be vectorized for printing (.ai, .cdr, vector pdf).

Designs should be submitted to development@uppervalleyhaven.org by Friday September 13. The winner will be selected by a committee of Haven staff. The winning designer will receive $250 for their work. The Haven has the right to make edits to the design and will have the final say in what will go on the van.

If you have questions throughout the process, please contact Isaac Lorton at ilorton@uppervalleyhaven.org

The van delivers food to our community food partners. Here’s a little bit more about them, specifically:

“Working with and supporting food partnerships in our community.”
We are proud to work with and support other food partnerships in our community, through delivered food and organizational growth planning advice. We do this work because we recognize that not everyone can travel to the Haven and that natural communities, including schools, outpatient clinics, and hospitals, provide trusted and more accessible locations for some people to receive needed food support. We work to ensure we are filling gaps and not duplicating services. We have extended our reach by delivering emergency, non-perishable food bags to clinics at Dartmouth HealthAlice Peck Day Hospital, and Cheshire Medical Center.  The Haven has established mini Food Markets with perishable and non-perishable items in the Dartmouth Cancer Center and in DH’s Moms in Recovery Clinic.
