The annual, friendly competition to help raise money for the Upper Valley Haven begins December 11 and ends December 16 –dubbed “The Bonding of the Beauticians.” Prior to Diane Coley’s retirement, former owner of Diane’s Casual Cuts, Diane, and Andrea Marquay owner of Andrea’s Hair Studio dressed in costumes and encouraged their clients and community members to make a donation at either location as part of the 19 Days of Norwich.
Since Diane’s retirement, Andrea has continued the tradition one weekend in December to help raise supplies and money for the Haven. Diane and Andrea have raised tens of thousands of dollars over the years, all of which is doubled by the generous grant from The Jack & Dorothy Byrne Foundation, and Andrea is proud to carry on the tradition. Thank you!
