The Haven relies overwhelmingly upon support from the community to carry out its mission. Support comes in a myriad of ways, including financial donations, volunteer time, and donations of food and clothing.

will offer at 1-for-2 MATCH for each:
1) NEW GIFT of $50 or more from an INDIVIDUAL,
or $150 or more from a BUSINESS
2) gift of $50 or more made by a REPEAT DONOR
whose first gift to the Haven was made in
calendar year 2011 or 2012
3) INCREASED GIFT OF $250 or more
(Example of a 1-for-2 match: A $100 gift becomes $150 for the Haven.

Volunteer
The Haven thrives with the support of numerous volunteers from the community. Last year, over 11,000 volunteer hours were logged at the Haven. There are many different volunteer opportunities ranging from serving on the Board of Directors to tutoring kids in the Haven’s After School Program. Visit our Volunteer pages to learn more.
Organize a Food Drive
The Haven receives one-third of its food through food drives. Organize one among your neighbors, business or church. Contact Nancy Chase for more information.
Clean Out Your Closet
Over 400 people visit the Haven’s free Clothing Room every month. Donations need to be clean, new or gently-used, and seasonal.
