45 Years ~ 45 Partners: White River Subaru
At the Haven, our Turkey Day event is one of the most meaningful days of the year. We give out turkeys, sides, and all the fixings to anyone who needs them, completely free. It’s a way to make sure everyone has the chance to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal at home, no matter their situation.
This past year, more people came to us than ever before. The demand was so high that we ran out of turkeys before the holiday even arrived. That’s when White River Subaru stepped in. They heard what was happening and showed up with 14 turkeys for our Food Market. No big announcement. No request for recognition. Just kindness.
Those turkeys were in families’ hands within hours. Fourteen more households were able to cook and share a holiday meal because they cared enough to act.
White River Subaru has supported the Haven in so many ways. They’ve donated socks, shoes, and warm clothing. They’ve hosted winter gear drives. They’ve made generous gifts to our annual fund to support shelter, food, and services.
Their team is the kind that simply asks, “What do you need?” and then shows up.
We’re grateful for their continued support and for being a business that truly shows up for the Upper Valley.
