45 Years ~ 45 Partners: Upper Valley Aquatic Center

The Upper Valley Aquatic Center (UVAC) is a nonprofit that has been offering swimming, fitness, and wellness programs to the Upper Valley community since 2004. With classes and programs for all ages, including children’s swim lessons, nutrition lectures, and exercise for people living with Parkinson’s, UVAC is more than a pool. It’s a place where health, movement, and community come together.

UVAC has also been a generous and consistent supporter of the Haven. They’ve partnered with our Children’s Program to provide free swim lessons, donated family swim passes for those staying in shelter, and regularly run food and outerwear drives for our guests. Each December, they also collect gifts to help make the holidays brighter for Haven families. Executive Director Joe Major, who also serves on the Haven Board, leads UVAC and it is a wonderful community asset.

We are grateful to UVAC for helping the Haven community stay active and supported, and for being such a strong and thoughtful partner.
