45 Years ~ 45 Partners: Senior Solutions
Senior Solutions, the Area Agency on Aging for Southeastern Vermont, provides vital support to older adults and individuals with disabilities. Their services include case management, caregiver support, a helpline, and other resources that help people stay safe and supported as they age.
As the population shifts, these kinds of services are becoming even more important. The number of Americans over 65 is expected to grow by nearly 50 percent between now and 2050, which means more people will need help navigating the challenges that come with getting older.
At the Haven, it’s reassuring to know that Senior Solutions is there when we need them. When one of our Community Service Coordinators is working with someone facing age-related challenges, we can connect with Senior Solutions to help guide that person toward resources that are more specialized.
Having that option helps us make sure our guests and community members can get the support they need, when they need it.
