45 Years ~ 45 Partners: King Arthur Baking Company
King Arthur Baking has supported the Haven in so many thoughtful and creative ways over the years. From food donations to hands-on volunteering, they’ve consistently made an impact.
They’ve donated fresh bread to our Community Food Market, flour by the pallet, and pies for our Turkey Day event at Thanksgiving. In past years, they made cupcakes for every child celebrating a birthday in our Children’s Program, creating special moments and celebration.
Their staff have volunteered to cook lunch and dinner at our Hixon House Adult Shelter, and they’ve taught baking classes for kids in our after-school program. Through some of their Bake for Good classes, all the baked goods made during class have gone directly to the Haven.
They’ve also taken part in our 19 Days of the Valley initiative and collected donations during their Week of Kindness, inviting customers at their retail store to give at checkout.
We’re grateful for the many ways King Arthur Baking has supported the Haven. Whether it’s a warm meal, a cupcake, or a bag of flour, their generosity has helped nourish this community in every sense of the word.
