Matthew Leib
Matthew was born in 1999 in St. Louis, Missouri and moved to the Upper Valley of VT/NH in 2009 attending Thetford Elementary and Thetford Academy. He began reading, writing, and reciting poetry in high school excelled as a classical and jazz guitarist, and as a record-breaking weightlifter. He spent several years living in White River Junction, VT working at the Upper Valley Food Cooperative. Matthew died in December 2024 at home from a sudden seizure.

It is the hope of his family and friends to keep Matthew’s legacy alive through acts of true lovingkindness by doing good deeds and donating to charities that were important to him. This is a path to help Matthew’s life to continue to have meaning and impact in this world after his death. Matthew’s family has chosen the Upper Valley Haven as a way for you to honor him and to support those in need in the community he lived in for many years.
