45 Years ~ 45 Partners: SEVCA & Capstone Community Action
Southeastern Vermont Community Action (SEVCA) and Capstone Community Action have played a vital role in supporting individuals and families experiencing poverty for decades. As two of Vermont’s Community Action Partnership (CAP) agencies, they provide emergency services, home weatherization for low-income households, housing and food access support, early childhood education programs, and many other resources, often in the very same communities we serve.
The people we support are often the same people they support. These agencies help strengthen the safety net through collaboration with our Service Coordinators, shared advocacy work, and referrals that help individuals and families access the full range of services they may need. In addition, SEVCA and Capstone’s outreach aligns with our values of meeting people where they are and helping remove barriers that make it more difficult to get support.
Thank you to our local CAP agencies for everything you do in the Upper Valley and beyond.
