I’m Turning My Boston Marathon Run into Support for Upper Valley Families
Running the Boston Marathon has been a dream of mine for 26 years. I’ve missed qualifying over the years with issues like frostbite, dengue fever, calf injuries, or just being too slow. Last year I finally made the cut, so I will be running in the 2026 event on April 20th. As I prepare to take on those 26.2 miles, I want to make every step count for more than just a personal milestone. I am delighted to be fundraising for the Upper Valley Haven, a vital organization that has provided hope and stability to our neighbors for over 45 years. The Haven serves more than 10,000 people annually, offering critical services including:
- Food Support
- Shelter & Housing
- Children’s Programs
- Service Coordination
26 is obviously a theme, and so my goal is to raise $2600. Your donation—no matter the size—directly supports these essential programs and ensures that no one in the Upper Valley has to face hunger or homelessness alone. Thank you for helping me cross this finish line while supporting such a meaningful cause!
