The shelter is a collaboration between the City of Lebanon and the Upper Valley Haven.

Who Can Stay

The Lebanon Seasonal Shelter is a low barrier shelter. All adults age 18 and older are welcome. Guests must be able to manage activities of daily living independently.

Sleeping space is provided in one shared room with partitions between each cot. Each guest has their own cot area. Couples are not able to share a space.

Well-behaved and immunized service and emotional support animals are welcome.

How to Sign Up for a Cot

Monday through Friday
Cot sign-up takes place at the TLC Resource Center, open until 5:00 p.m.

Guests who sign up for a cot may stay at the TLC Resource Center until the shelter opens.

Saturday and Sunday
Cot sign-up takes place at the Lebanon Seasonal Shelter.

Cots cannot be reserved by phone. Sign-up is required, and no referral is necessary.

Providers working with someone after 5:00 PM should call ahead to check bed availability.

Support During your Stay

Each shift is staffed by two Haven staff members, with volunteers assisting during check-in and dinner.

With staff support, guests complete an intake assessment and are connected with local partner agencies to help address individual needs and goals.

If the shelter reaches capacity, New Hampshire and Vermont residents may be assisted with accessing a hotel stay, depending on availability.
