The Haven is working to reduce food insecurity in the Upper Valley.

We continue to work to effect changes in policies and resources to reduce the amount of food insecurity in the Upper Valley by working with advocacy organizations and providing testimony and education to state and federal legislators, using our voice and position.

The work is ongoing. The end of COVID relief in multiple areas – food, childcare, income support, rent protections – has led to increased hardship and challenge among people on the edge of poverty and those who face daily struggles due to low incomes. The Haven is joining the work of Vermont Farm to Plate – A Roadmap to 2035.
