Thank you for your incredible response.
Our community came together and raised more than twice the $25,000 goal to keep the Food Market stocked during the SNAP shutdown.

This special campaign has ended, but the need for food and essential services continues as we move into the holidays. Please consider making a gift to sustain the Haven’s ongoing work at Please consider making a gift to sustain the Haven’s ongoing work at uppervalleyhaven.org/donate.

With the federal government shutdown halting distribution of SNAP benefits starting November 1, many more people will turn to food shelves and organizations like the Haven to keep food on the table.

While Vermont and New Hampshire are developing temporary plans, these measures are not guaranteed and will not have the coverage of the SNAP programs. News stories about the pending shutoff of SNAP funding have already increased daily Community Food Market visits this month by 25%! The Haven’s Community Food Market remains open and ready to serve anyone who needs it, free of charge.

To meet this increased need for nutritious and plentiful food, we launched a special fundraising effort to raise $25,000 by November 15 to help meet the growing need for fresh food, dairy, and household staples during this uncertain time.

Your gift today will ensure the Market stays stocked and welcoming for every household that walks through our doors.
