As part of the company’s commitment to the community, King Arthur Flour has supported the Haven in numerous ways over the years. They have donated bread and baked goods on a regular basis to support our Food Shelf, sent volunteers to help after Irene and during the holidays, and have conquered big projects around our building and campus annually. Now they have taken on a new role at the Haven. They have made a commitment to send staff to prepare meals twice a month for the adults living at Hixon House, and as an extra bonus they even prepare special baked goods from their bakery to compliment the dinner. The Haven extends a big thank you to the employee-owners of King Arthur Flour who are working so hard to help the people that we serve! The Haven Through 40 Years
The Haven will commemorate its four decades of service to the region by releasing 40 stories of people, events, ideas, and services fundamental to our mission. We will be releasing these stories weekly, so check back often.
