King Arthur Flour’s Manufacturing Team honors MLK by volunteering at the Haven!

This year marked the 4th annual Martin Luther King Day that King Arthur Flour (KAF) volunteers spent the day volunteering at the Haven. The manufacturing team has proven to be a committed and valuable partner for the Haven. This year they sent 22 volunteers to the Haven to help with several projects. They started by putting a fresh coat of paint in our community services area. They also prepared lunch, dinner, and several extra meals to be frozen and used at Hixon House for the adults living there. In the true spirit of community service, we always know that King Arthur Flour employees will show up with warm smiles and a willingness to help with whatever project we have on hand. On behalf of those that we serve, thank you KAF for continuing to be our partner!
The Haven Through 40 Years
The Haven will commemorate its four decades of service to the region by releasing 40 stories of people, events, ideas, and services fundamental to our mission. We will be releasing these stories weekly, so check back often.
