Tom Ketteridge – 2010
FORMER MANAGING DIRECTOR: March 2000 – March 2009
Tom first joined the Haven family when he was elected to the Board in 1999. A year later, when the Haven was having trouble finding a Managing Director, Tom stepped in, leaving his successful career as a certified public accountant to devote himself to a higher, and more personal calling. First and foremost, Tom worked compassionately and urgently to meet the needs of the homeless as well as raise awareness of poverty in the Upper Valley. During his tenure not only did he serve as an extraordinary manager, he shepherded the Haven through a major expansion in 2004 and a long and trying search for a new adult shelter site. As a result of his tireless efforts, and advocacy for the homeless and those struggling with poverty, the Haven will realize the dream of building a new adult shelter with a ground-breaking this June, 2009. Due to illness, Tom stepped down as managing director in 2009 but continues to be part of the Haven family.
